The Spirit Venn Diagram™

As an evidential medium—and as the mother of a daughter who is now in spirit—I have come to understand our continuing relationship as a kind of Venn diagram.

I am here. Ava is there. Yet both of us are held within the same great mystery.

The two circles do not collapse into one. I still live within a physical world, and Ava exists in a way I cannot completely see or fully comprehend. But there is an overlap: a shared space where love, beauty, music, memory, creativity, signs, and relationship continue to meet. For me, that overlap is the ordinary world

It is where a song arrives at precisely the right moment. Where a familiar symbol appears unexpectedly. Where a memory feels less like looking backward and more like being met. It is where the paper airplanes seem to land—and where signs gradually become language.

Mediumship also happens within this shared space. The medium does not create the connection or become the authority over it. We listen, observe, and give language to what may already be moving between two people who remain in relationship—one here and one in spirit.
